It is an interactive parent-child time with fun activities designed to promote early literacy, language development and a love of books for 0 to 2 years old.
During Toddler Story-time, a librarian reads aloud and leads adult-child pairs in activities. Toddler Story-time also supports early literacy by building vocabulary and sharing age-appropriate literature in an atmosphere of fun, engaging activity.

"Ruby Bridges" is the final movie in the weekly Cinematheque series for Black History Month at the Marathon Branch of Monroe County Public Library. It's the true story of an African-American girl in 1960 who was the first to integrate a white school in New Orleans. The film will be shown on the large screen in our Community Room...with popcorn! Stay for a discussion afterwards.
