Workshop: County's Communication Plan for Individuals with Disabilities
Monday, May 22
Monroe County Invites the public to attend a community workshop to learn about the County's self-evaluation plan for effective communications with individuals with disabilities -- and policy changes affecting individuals with disabilities.
This plan will help the County improve accessibility of its services to citizens with disabilities that include hearing and vision loss.
At the workshop, the County will present the recommended improvements to services and take public input on these recommendations and other ideas the public may have.
ADA ASSISTANCE: Sign Language interpreters will be present at the workshop. If you are a person with a disability who needs other special accommodations to participate in the workshop, please contact the County Administrator's Office by calling 305-292-4441 at lease five calendar days before the workshop. If you are hearing impaired, call "711."
