It is an interactive parent-child time with fun activities designed to promote early literacy, language development and a love of books for 0 to 2 years old.
During Toddler Story-time, a librarian reads aloud and leads adult-child pairs in activities. Toddler Story-time also supports early literacy by building vocabulary and sharing age-appropriate literature in an atmosphere of fun, engaging activity.

By the popular demand of our patrons, we are doing a special showing of the 1954 film "Salt of the Earth," rather than "Thirteen Days," as previously announced. The patrons who saw "One of the Hollywood Ten" on March 15 were so intrigued by the story of blacklisted director Herbert Biberman and his banned film "Salt of the Earth" that they asked for the film to be shown next. All movies fall into our "Commies!" theme for the month. Join us for the showing on the Community Room's large screen and a discussion afterward.
