The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the project alternatives and provide comments on the alternatives and the feasibility study. The format of the meeting will be an informal open-house hosted by Monroe County, where the public can attend any time during the meeting hours and staff from the USACE and Monroe County will be available to answer questions. The USACE plans to prepare an Environmental Assessment to evaluate environmental impacts from reasonable project alternatives and to determine the potential for significant impacts.

Pesticide License is available either as a Public certification for those applicators that apply herbicides (Restricted Use Pesticides) to agricultural areas, industrial areas, and any outdoor areas such as golf courses, athletic fields, parks and cemeteries, and that work for federal, state, county, or municipal public agencies, or as a Commercial certification for contractors to apply pesticides in those same areas.
In order to take the test, you must obtain a voucher from FDACS: https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/ click on "apply for exam". This will take you to the website where you will complete your information. (You cannot take the exam without visiting the website and attaining a voucher.)
