Stormwater Responsibilities
In addition, Engineering develops and manages the implementation of the county's Stormwater Master Plan. It also reviews individual surface water management plans as part of the county's building permit process for both residential and commercial developments. For more information on how to develop a stormwater plan, please read Monroe County's Manual for Stormwater Managemnt Practices.
