WHAT WE DO:

Monroe County Project Management is responsible for the maintenance and coordination of all Monroe County facilities and construction projects. Monroe County is currently pioneering efforts to ensure public facilities are current with the latest ADA accessibility requirements. These requirements include handrails, door knobs, ramps, signs, stairs and counters. Some of your favorite county facilities may already have seen some improvements like the tax collectors office, public libraries, courthouses, detention facilities, as well as county parks & beaches.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW:

After completing an assessment and transition plan for all Monroe County facilities we have a good idea what needs to be done in each building, however, it is easy to miss some things. Monroe County would like the public to share with us anything that may have been overlooked. We are open to suggestions and ideas that may make county facilities easier to use and more accessible for everyone. So tell us what you think.*
